Finally had a trip where all three villages I visited, had open churches. It was so hot today, and a Bank holiday Monday, that I didn't want to go anywhere where there were likely to be hordes of sun-seekers and beach lovers.
Correct decision. All the main roads were choc-a-bloc with vehicles heading for the coast. Me? I just wanted peace and quiet, so Twinkle and I decided on a little bimble around the Romney Marshes.
As luck would have it, the churches I wanted were all open, so that's 3 more of my local targets achieved.
So, head to the Kent page, and I'm slowly adding information and pictures on Bilsington, Newchurch and Ruckinge.
