The Knatchbull family have made their home at Hatch Park since the 16th. century. I didn't get a chance to study the house today (which is still a family home), but the nearby family church in the village has enough of the Knatchbull history to keep me researching for hours, if not weeks.
So I took advantage of a brief day of sunshine to go and visit it.
All the pictures have been added to the appropriate page in Kent, and further information will be added as I go.
I also need another visit to the village, which will be nostalgic for me, as a group of us who used to live in the area often went for a drink in the Farriers pub in the 60s
