So, today I needed to test my stamina and ability to move a bike around without help from my husband. I took little Twinkle, and we did a little over 60 miles, and completed the Elham valley villages that I had previously had to stop halfway through because of the good old English weather. That trip was never completed, due to my health problems.
I managed the small bike fine, even doing a U-turn on rough, unmade land. When I got home, I even managed to swap the bikes around in the garage, and get my lovely Yamaha out unaided. So tomorrow, I'll go out on that (just to make sure I can manage it of course)
Anyway, enough about me. I returned to Barham, then progressed to Kingston and on to Bishopsbourne. Couldn't cover the Black Robin pub in Kingston, as it is undergoing renovation at the moment, so I'll need to go back there at a later date.
Then I took a wrong turn, and found a left-over bridge from the old Elham Valley railway line, that hadn't been dismantled.
Visited the pretty church at Kingston, then went on to Bishopsbourne. Now that church is wondrous - well worth a visit.
As usual, the pictures will go up first (124 today), then I'll fill in the research as I go on.
