The Former MI6 Building.
Yes, really. At one time, the location of the headquarters of Britain's Military Intelligence was kept well under wraps, but everyone now knows the magnificent Art Deco style building standing on the bank of the River Thames.
The SIS Building at Vauxhall has since 1994 been home to the MI6 foreign intelligence service. It was designed by Terry Farrell and opened by Queen Elizabeth. Much of the building is below street level. It was attacked with a rocket in 2000, believed to be by a dissident IRA group. It has featured in several James Bond films.
